I have yet to see a comprehensive kiddie rocknroll article in Ugly Things magazine that I found that entertaining or satisfying. So here are a few that are nice and cryptic while I’m up it’s waay too late I’ve just had too much coffee and It’s still in my brain. Please don’t look for anything complete on this blog just random nonsense as usual.
Most Kiddie bands have celebrity parents two examples would be Tony & the Tygers(Soupy Sales sons) and Dino Desi & Billy(Lucy and Desi Arnaz and Dean martin) both total downers with moody vocals and often times preteen shrill voices.
Who’s the more cryptic and awkward at the same time is it Tony & The Tygers? Dino Desi & Billy? or could it be the total wild cards Billy & The Kids, Who I ask you!
DD&B when I mentioned them to my dad he put his finger down his throat to simulate vomiting. And that's the proper response to kiddie music in fact he had the same reaction to Sam The Sham & The Pharoahs (so really what does he know??) Lee Hazlewood wrote most of their songs that weren’t covers, mostly Beatles covers.
Tony &The Tygers both singer and Drummer went on to on to Iggy Pop's band so there’s that. Fuck it they all rock! Oh and one more thing motherfuck the kids of todays gaytarded shitty bands!
