Ondemand this month has this documentary on William Wellman that is a good time.He's a total bastard and alot of the films he made he lived what the characters lived.Like the shoving the grapefruit into his wife's face(he never actually did that as far as we know).He does relish it though,what a fucker! I can't believe this "Larry the cable guy" christmas special! In this house i say dont bother me, I'm watching my favorite christmas show it's just that good.Well today is my test hope i dont blow it! I'm going to the best hamburger joint in frisco "Beeps"
On the way home each day when i take the Bart(which is the cutesy name for the dirty subway)
I see two people who are worth mentioning one is the mexican guy with the casio keyboard on his lap who sings beautifully and clangs out of tune keys.The other is this old skinny guy who plays a tiny accordian hanging onto it by his fingertips for some reason almost dropping it.One day i thought i heard him play "Miserlou" made famous by Dick Dale.
Another thing I've been meaning to talk about is Ondemand they have Something Weird lists and even shows made up of clips that they have lying around that they turned into awesome parodies(they are called "exploitica" and Best of sin cinema) they even did a worst bands catagory which was amazing!
One more thing before i get back to my favorite xmas show Fearnet is the lamest bullshit They give you free movies usually 3 are worth watching (thats where I saw Don't Answer the Phone) they have commercials in between and graphics that just anger you like a bloody knife telling you watch this one thing online! I'm watching tv the only shit I'm forced to watch online is not really that funny stuff on youtube or comedy sites(like funnyordie) or Peepshow which should be out here anyway!(which they finally put on bbc amercia). So last weekend I watched a lost slasher movie called "New Years Evil" which was hilarious! It failed on alot of levels(it was better than Slaughter High totally) Slaughter High is at the bottom of the scrapes on the slasher movie scale for me anyway.It had Pinky Tuchadaro from Happy Days as a "Punk" DJ The music was awesome it was all Metal like Dokken style, but all the bands had that costume shop punk hair spray and blush on their face to look punk ya dig? So it's pretty great look for it. The best scene in New Years evil is when he leads a dumb blonde head first into a giant bag of weed and then suffocates her like he's leading a rabbit into a box so he can pull the string and eat the rabbit. The Casio guy has since learned how to play and has been written about in local newspapers and he's still awesome! the accordion guy never shows up anymore.
