Synthetic VH1 I love the 80's version of The 80's

All around the globe right now it seems the 80's have taken their revenge on the culture and risen from it's neon grave, this is of course complete bullshit!
There's no way anything could be as awesome as the 80's were and most people who didn't get to experience it believe it's come back.Coke has returned sure and instead of nuclear threats, there is the oil spill(anyone check the Orson Welles "Late great Earth" or "The Nostrodamus one" to see if any prophesies came true?) 80's hardcore, New Wave, Classic Mtv, pick your poison none if it even compares to the dreck and shit spewing out of the sewer pipe of the year 2010. In the 90's I was constantly complaining about how it was just a compilation of past decades and now that everything has devolved(see Devo saw this coming) the best we can do is to remake the Smurfs or Transformers and the worst slasher film like Slaughter High is light years ahead in intelligence above the recent "Nightmare on Elm Street" remake. Pop culture has chewed off it's own bleeding foot and things can always get worse eeek. Who's the next Reagan? Cheney?
And that's the thing that really bothers me the fashion of the 80's has returned and the drugs, but what about The thing most responsible for creating a machine of propaganda. Skaters dress Hip Hop and Black kids dress like Skaters it's as if they had a meeting and traded uniforms.
Cannon Films who ruled with an iron fist during the 80's and early 90's were responsible for the greatest vigilantes,serial killers and ninjas a force that strong can never be repeated only in the 80's could people buy into their message.
What's good about now is people are too aware that progress has zero to do with Fascism and those that follow other clueless Foxs news and hate radio stars are old to begin with and are delusional. They have selective memory and invented pieces of history that falls in line with their own distorted views. Then what really frightens me is the apathy and the self deluted-ness that is programed in all of us to never move things forward. I still believe that when it comes down to the wire no one is gonna vote a tea bagger into the drivers seat,but History has oddly enough placed corporate interests and morons in charge,progress backtracks and waits to re-emerge,no fair!
