(mmm yummy blood and gore)
If you grew up in the 80's and miss walking around aisles of videos with hideous covers and just get a kick out of the glue and cardboard smell of videos then this is a nice site to check out. Almost every video store in Florida has folded up and left town but here in California there are a few faithful supporters of VHS left. It's amazing that any of them are still open! When I was in Austin a few years ago there is a cool rare video store on every corner (and among criterion shit they rent porn, which obviously pays the bills). Looking at faded video boxes just makes me happier for some odd reason.
This dude at cover browser has at least a thousand of them so you can get all your fun happy times there. My friend skunkape used to collect huge video boxes (he had Caligula the untold story) and when I met H.G. Lewis at Amoeba records I told him about how I loved seeing those huge video boxes at different places in Florida(where we are both from) he's such an awesome guy! I actually heard that his favorite fried chicken place in Miami was Bojangles and stalked the place to see if he might stroll in for a bucket, but no such luck. The chicken was kinda oily and the skin was fatty Oh well, it was worth the trip to possibly run into the Godfather of Gore.
