I never payed any attention to The mighty Sab's "Buildings on escalators having robot sex" or "Technical Ecstacy" but it's easily the happiest and hippiest rocknroll hippy dippy Black Sabbath ever sounded! It's like they all took "stummies" the happy pill from Kids in The Hall: Brain Candy, I mean what the fuck is going on here? I got it on cassette and was very confused by this weak sound they got! Hipgnosis whom Joe Preston just mentioned on his incredible radio show did the robot cover. Skunkape told me about the song "Back Street Kids" and my immediate reaction was "No way would they write a song with that gaytarded of a name" but it's true it's here on this record. "It's Alright" with Bill Ward singing might as well be Happiness Pie from Brain Candy and Guns and Roses even covered it, YUK! They could only go further downward into the pits of happiness since they started off at the top of mount doom. At least they pulled off a few killer tracks on "Never Say Die" like "Shockwave" and the title track, but "Technical Ecstacy is as big a blow to the crushing heavyness and only Ronnie James Dio could save them from ultimate light.
