The Appeal of HBO porn is that it’s fun to be exploited and the candid interviews conducted mean never to reveal what’s actually there and perpetuating the fantasy and lying to the public.
I used to enjoy the other documentaries they had (Cathouse or Real Sex,I’ve never liked) but I’ve always liked the Japanese game show Mondo HBO styled ones. I remember one that made me want to puke when a girl brushed her teeth with sperm or when one ate an embryo. At the time I thought all this was entertaining in a Jacopetti/Prosperi so horrible and inaccurate it’s funny. This was a long time before “Jackass” caused adolescent maniacs to film every retarded act and broadcast it(and pre Youtube as well). Sometimes I think it’s Viacom’s plan to turn everyone into a drooling zombie exhibitionist for what purpose it’s still unclear, but there’s definitely a pattern. Their take on history is unbelievable, seemingly patched together from recycled bits of pop culture (all available for sale online with constant commercials). I liked Vh1 at first but it’s all gone too far and needs to stop. What I don’t understand is how all this money and footage is so crappily thrown together into information already in books (with more of a real sense of history and not processed through a marketing team).The Behind the Music approach to all human accomplishments.

Then there’s Katie Morgan who is the reason I write his entry, she is the creepiest non-sexiest porn girl on the latest HBO porn doc series. She grins like a corpse and sits there naked with her Franken-boobs protruding out with visible stitches(bad implants). Her happy slappy attitude freaks me the fuck out. I mean what’s wrong with her? Which brings me to Cathouse a disgusting garbage pile of slop, which tries to make human trafficking cool and pimps and madam grudge work respectable and glosses over all the realities. If you want to see the underbelly of how uncool pimps are watch “Very Young Girls” by David Schisgall and Nina Alvarez or American Pimp by the Hughes brothers where they actually criticize the guy who runs The Cathouse. I know I have gripes with certain stuff but sadly it’s hard for me to imagine a world without it so there you go!
