Classic Videogame Review: Gauntlet 2

This is a game that will beat you to a pulp, consume your time and leave you a life less skeleton, if you sit there and play it for all eternity, which is exactly the sinister games’ evil plan. I got the Midway Classics pack for my Playstation 2 console, Which I call the mall disc, because it has all the arcade games I used to play in the mall. My only complaint is that is should come with an unlimited supply of Orange Julius. You get unlimited health with the game though. The ghoulish sounding voice will say things like “I’d not seen such bravery” or "Wizard is about to die"as you battle hordes of demons, trolls, goblins, grim reapers and escape through different hatches. Always remember to destroy the source of evil, from where it lives, because the onslaught is always against you and you will be stuck in the same spot hacking away until you can find a magic potion to vaporize half the board. My hands became locked in the same position for at least 6 hours and as I reached the 33rd level I realized this game will never end, it’s a bottomless well there to consume all mankind. The only other time this happened was when I was playing "Ninja Gaidan" on the original Nintendo system and had to go to Disney world(I wanted to pause it for a few days, but was worried it would use up all the electricity, pretty stupid now that I think about it)That’s when I had to stop and turn it off. I felt like the guy in “The Last Starfighter” when his face became fused with the arcade games power that it mutated him into a hideous creature.(which I just learned through wikipedia that it’s called a Zan-Do-Zan,which I couldn't find a good picture of). In Gauntlet 2 you can be either the Wizard, The Warrior, The Elf or the Female Barbarian(she doesn’t look like a princess).I go with the elf or the wizard. That all for now.
